Today’s Brides Want Simpler, Stylish, Easy-to-Get Gowns
After my friends Jill and Reed returned from their honeymoon, I saw the pictures: Never was there a more ethereal beauty than this tiny girl, bare feet planted in the sand, resolute to marry the man for whom she was willing to throw away all girlhood dreams of poufy, fairytale gowns and elaborate cathedrals, just so that they could say “I do” on their own terms.
If that’s not a Cinderella story, I don’t know what is.
