Ed Hardy’s Wearable Tattoos for All
Blogged under Apparel, Art and Photography, Current Sales and Offers by Debi Martin on Wednesday 9 July 2008

Ed Hardy creates street couture for people who like tattoos but don’t want to get one. The painter, printmaker and tattoo artist who melds American, Japanese, surf and hot-rod iconography, licensed his designs in 2004 ed-hardy-winner-zappos-2.jpgto Christian Audigier (Diesel, Von Dutch, Bisou Bisou, Levi’s, American Outfitters). A star was born, particularly when Madonna and other stars started wearing Ed Hardy two summers ago. What is truly remarkable about the Ed Hardy line is that – unlike so many designer clothes worn by celebrities – the clothes are affordable and they are worn by women and men. Take a look at these women’s racer-back ribbed tanks for $62: Battle, Two Swords and Mermaid. Also reasonably priced and on sale is the Tiger-Army tunic ($63). (You can also find Hardy items at lots of online retailers, such as Zappos)Check out these Skull Rose skinny jeans $198. For guys, there’s this World Tour tie-dye shirt (on sale $85), these Love Kills Slowly beach shorts ($75) and Japan men’s denim shorts in light blue ($158.) Ed Hardy designs also come on watches like this one with Swarovski crystals ($208), Geisha flip flops ($36), women’s low rise shoes in canary and soap ($71). Bring your own beverage in this geisha flask ($46), and get your kids into the act with these shoes in brown ($28.80). Change the mood in the room with the Ed Hardy air freshener set ($24). Take off down the road on your gas-free Ed Hardy Cruiser Tiger Skate Board ($176).
