JCPenney is rolling out its new Studio line, a home furnishings collection designed to attract urban shoppers. The modern, relaxed styling “is neither trendy, chrome nor minimalist,” says Deb Evans, vice president of JCP home product development. “It’s a clear departure from what we’ve had.” No kidding! Check out this suede blocks bedding in understated, sophisticated colors. The collection now available in JCP stores and on the web includes key home décor items: area rugs, bedding, bath, lamps and window coverings. Look for furniture and tabletop items to arrive in July.
