There are lots of lingerie makers, La Perla stands above the rest. Their tiny little intimate items are not cheap, but that label is a sure sign that 1) you know what you’re doing and 2) you aren’t a skinflint. Plus, what more romantic statement can you make than to give your lady lingerie, a lovely camisole or some slinky sleepwear? Again, if size is a concern, rifle through her drawers (pun intended) for the answer.

Shopping around Neiman-Marcus again, we found a lot of La Perla options, including a lacy bra and matching briefs ($238 for the bra and $125 for the briefs), a less costly set of bra/briefs for $127 and $55 respectively or a little less racy gold lace ruffled chemise and thong for $210. If you’re able to keep your mind on shopping, peruse the many selections of bikini briefs at Bare Necessities. If this skimpy stuff isn’t her style, consider a beautiful set of satin pajamas for $506, or a long satin gown for $498. And if all of the above is too much, La Perla has a lovely terry robe with satin trim for $351.
