On that first day of high school, your purse speaks volumes about who you are (at least that’s what you may think). The wrong earrings could cast you into the hall of losers (not really, but you probably believe that, too). And shoes, well, we can’t stress them enough. (That’s not true either. Shoes are, in general, highly over-rated.)
Those caveats aside, the mad rush for sneakers, sandals, earrings, bags, backpacks and the like is about to begin for high school students. And pity the poor freshman preparing to make that first big fashion statement while lacking confidence in the look of his or her backpack.
