Vera Wang Hallow, Kitty! Costumes for cats
Dogs shouldn’t have all of the fun this Halloween. With a little prowling around, costumes can be found for those felines willing to put up with being dressed up. Of course, the very act of attempting to dress a cat could be just as scary as going through a haunted house. If you’re not afraid of claws or yowls or dirty looks from Fluffy, then go for it!
Bat Cat from The Gilded Paw, above left, is a mere $5, on sale. Wacky Planet’s princess outfit is $13 (above right.)
The queen in her velvet cape and crown from Funhouse Theatrical Costumes seems to be in a royal snit over her regalia. ($25) Both the ladybug ($28) and frog ($25) costumes are from The Sophisticated cat. This pirate ($4.50, from The Gilded Paw) seems uninterested in looting and pillaging. The jester ($7, from PetSmart) might put a smile on his face, though. So, you say your cat is a couch-destoying, clawing, hissing fiend? Look no further than the Cat from Hell costume from BuyCostumes.com (and good luck getting that on him). Oh, you want to take the easy road. The most simple costume you can find and still say you dressed the cat. Well, here’s a pumpkin vest for $9.
So, the best you can do is a hat for the cat? Here are a couple of cute ones, the beach hat for $20, and the royal cat’s crown for $6.95, both from SpoiledRottenKitties.com |
